Kevin Jonas Picks His Best Man!

Kevin Jonas told Canadian radio station Hot 89.9 FM that both Nick and Joe will be his best men at his upcoming wedding!

When asked which brother would be the best man Kevin answered the radio station: “They both are. [Danielle] actually has two sisters, kind of the same age as well. It works out really well because there are two maids of honor and two best men.”

Kevin and Danielle are set to be married in late 2009 or early 2010.

Are you excited about Kevin’s choice for both of his brothers to be best men? Maybe younger brother Frankie will be the flower girl – haha!

Selena Gomez No More Disney??!

OMG! :O this is so sad! It sounds as if once Selena Gomez’s contract is up with the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” she will be moving away from the Disney Channel and heading off to college and working on shooting movies on the side. Selena says about Wizards, “I think this’ll be the last series that I do. I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman. Natalie went to Harvard while shooting ‘Star Wars.’ I don’t know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her — that seems like a bunch of stress right there.”

Selena told reporters that she is keeping her fingers crossed that she will be accepted into Northwestern University, her dream school.

As for how Selena is going to bring her audience along with her when she transitions from the Disney Channel to other, broader movie roles she says, “I’m going to make that transition slowly. I’m not going to immediately go do something that’s way off the charts, because my goal is to keep my audience and have them grow with me.”

What does Selena want to go to school for you might wonder? Well the teen celebrity is looking to study theater or journalism.

How will Selena fit in such a busy schedule of school and filming movies? She has just the answer: “I don’t really like to rest too much. If I’m resting in LA, I tend to miss home [in Texas] a lot and that’s not good for me, because then I get sad and I miss my family. I do constantly like to work. I believe that it keeps me going and makes me happy. ”

Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Engagement Reports real??

ZAC EFRON and VANESSA HUDGENS won't be walking down the aisle just yet - both stars have denied reports they're soon to be wed.

The High School Musical co-stars, who have dated since 2005, have long been subjected to speculation about their love life, with Efron denying in February (09) that he'd proposed to Hudgens during a promotional trip in Japan.

Now the pair has been forced to speak out again after they were subjected to another round of rumours about an engagement this weekend (16Aug09), after a British tabloid reported that Hudgens had hinted about a possible wedding date.

Representatives for both Efron and Hudgens maintain that while the couple is still together, reports of an imminent marriage ceremony are "not true".

Beyonce Changes Concert Stage Times For Australian Tour

Please see below details regarding changes to Beyonce's stage times on her upcoming 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' tour!

As a result of changed production logistics it has become necessary to revise the running times of Beyonce's second Sydney show, on Saturday, September 19 at ACER Arena.

Sydney ACER Arena, Saturday September 19 running times are now:

6.00 pm doors
6.55 pm Jessica Mauboy
7.15 pm Flo Rida
8.00 pm Beyonce

The Perth show will also run earlier than previously advised in order to facilitate Beyonce's two-hour plus performance within the Burswood Dome curfew. Revised stage times there will be:

7.15 pm Flo Rida
8.15 pm Beyonce

No other shows are affected and running times remain as follows for Melbourne on Sept 15 & 16, Sydney on September 18, Brisbane on September 20 and Adelaide on September 22:

Disney starlet Selena Gomez has been harping on about her new "musical project" for yonks...and now it finally has a name - "Selena and the Scene"!

Selena has now gone so far as to choose her band and record a music video for her first single "Falling Away".

Selena announced:
cant wait for my record!!! Just ao u know.. My band name is Selena Gomez And The Scene. The title of my record is called "Kiss & Tell"

She continued:
I named my band The Scene because a lot of people are making fun of me calling me a "wanna be scene" so I thought I would poke fun of that.

She also Tweeted a photo of her new band, saying, "Ethan is brushing his teeth. Joey is tired of me taking pictures. Greg is just happy. Good day so far."

Kelly Clarkson To Judge American Idol, Joe Jonas Too!

The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson and Joe Jonas (that’s the middle Jonas Brother) will serve as guest judges at next week’s audition series for the reality competition series.

“At this stage it doesn’t look like Paula [Abdul] will be replaced by one person,” an insider told Pop Tarts. “The celebrity judges are working really well for now.”

Other celebs joining Season 9 regular judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi include Shania Twain, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige.

I think Rihanna has always been amazing at the VMAs. Everything that she’s decided to do as far as fashion on the red carpet, she takes chances. I actually have no idea what I’m going to wear for my performance or the red carpet so I better get on that.”

Jonas Brothers Crash Weddings!

Over the past couple of years family band The Jonas Brothers have spent a small fortune on wedding gifts for complete strangers...as their fans have been ruining weddings!

The three brothers have often found themselves staying in hotels where people are also holding wedding ceremonies. Kevin Jonas explains:
"We've had a couple of instances where there's been weddings going on during the time we're at the hotel... You get brides like, 'You've ruined my wedding.'"

Brother Nick adds:
"A hundred to 12 hundred fans will show up outside the hotel... and the bride... her wedding's ruined, because there's just screaming fans the whole time and it just turns into a big mess. We've actually sent apology gifts to the bride and groom."

Looks like Kevin Jonas might need to prepare for a series of wedding crashes at his own upcoming nuptials. Kevin recently announced his engagement to hairdresser Danielle Deleasa, no doubt a riot of devastated teenage girls will be on the rampage!

In an attempt to remain anonymous at an American university, Shakira recently attended lectures dressed as a boy!

The seriously sexy solo artist put her music career on hold two years ago to take history classes at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She was very keen to take the classes seriously, which resulted in swapping her glamorous stage outfits for loose-fitting men's clothing.

Although she's now back to doing what she loves, the star felt the need for some time out of her hectic schedule and wanted a taste of the 'normal life'.

"I went to university after my last tour and studied history. I lived the regular student life for a bit. I used to wear a cap, tennis shoes, big backpack, baggy pants - I looked like a boy. I tried to hide and concentrate on my classes. I would have liked a normal career and to have experienced normal student life - but I'm not complaining."

We're not complaining either! Her latest single 'She Wolf' recently entered The Hot Hits charts and her album is due out in early October. Welcome back!

Mark McLeod, Miley's Straker: House Raided!

Police raided the home of MILEY CYRUS' alleged stalker on Thursday (06Aug09) - a day after authorities placed a temporary restraining order on the obsessive fan.

Cops showed up at Mark McLeod's residence in Appling, Georgia immediately after a judge executed a search warrant.

A police captain at the Columbia County Sheriff's Department refused to reveal what officers were searching for, but gossip website TMZ.com reports various items were seized, including a computer.

McLeod, 53, was taken into custody by Georgia police after loitering around the Tybee Island set of the actress' upcoming movie The Last Song, 180 miles (290 kilometres) from his home.

Police had warned McLeod to keep away from the area after he was arrested in June (09) for disorderly conduct following an attempt to cross a security barrier on set.

McLeod told the arresting officer he had "thousands of pictures and letters to Miley on his computer", according to a police report.

The Hannah Montana star was granted a temporary restraining order on Tuesday (04Aug09), while McLeod remains behind bars in the Chatham County jail on a US$55,200 bond.

Mamma Mia! The Britney Spears And Justin Timberlake Opera!

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's teen romance will be brought back to life as an opera! Seven years after the messy split, their relationship will be back under the spotlight and played out as an opera called 'Timberbrit'.

The fictional musical tells the story of Britney's fall from grace, and Timberlake's unsuccessful attempts to reignite the relationship. One of Justin's first solo tracks 'Cry Me A River' clearly depicts the unpleasant end to the teen romance.

A partly completed version of 'Timberbrit' originally debuted in New York in 2008, but is now being fully developed in a lavish stage production.

Writer Yuka Igarashi has been collaborating with producer Jacob Cooper for many months now and both hope the opera will be a world wide smash. Cooper has used audio software to change the tempo of Spears' world wide hits, and reworked them into haunting arias for the 21st century tragedy.
